We are back to school and with that comes hours spent in the library, our shitty jobs, Merk yelling at us, and getting the Cattle Drums ship back out to sea. Our first release is going to be in our hands pretty soon and we couldn’t be more pumped. New Decade, new furniture and wigs.
After a night of getting kicked out bars we’re heading out to do a weekend of shows and parties. Jan 1st is Ridgewood NJ and the 2nd is West Chester PA. Needless to say we’re pumped that they are both house shows. Don’t let the the cops know about Sam being with us.

With a pair of gnarly shows on the horizon and the weight of school off our butts for a bit the Cattle Drums engine moves along. Back at our first show there were two young ladies taking pictures. These are some of the low-lights of that night.

Day two at dickButt.
The day started with Darin drinking two cups of coffee and not calming down for the next 3127469 hours. The house shook for the next 6 hours as Pat and Gulab recorded clean and not so clean guitars. So we are well into day two of recording and I thought this would be good time to share some updates about how day one went. First Show
Who doesn’t like a good house show? No body that’s who. Our Good friends in Timeshares, Summer People, and Attica! Attica! will be joining us for a night of music, beer, good friends, and some guaranteed shirtlessness. Prep
We’re going to start recording our first batch of songs one week from today. We’ll be venturing down state to the fabled dickButt studio. It’s not a studio in the traditional sense it’s more like our buddies basement but he does great work (check out his band/recording ability here.) I’m gunna keep this simple. We’re a band that plays music. We’re made up of:
Pat Moore on guitar and mustache.
Darin Gregory on Bass and stains.
